Professor Maher A. Abbas, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, was invited to preside over the Colorectal Surgery video session at the American College of Surgeons 103rd Annual Clinical Congress which was held in San Diego, California. In addition, Dr. Abbas was on the teaching faculty of a full day course entitled Advanced Colonoscopy Skills Course: Polypectomy and Beyond. In the General Surgery Session, Dr. Abbas also presented the technical video Colostomy Takedown and Laparoscopic Sigmoidectomy for Diverticular Stricture with Enterocolic and Colovesical Fistulas. The American College of Surgeons Annual Congress is a unique educational activity for surgeons from around the globe.
