The 40th anniversary of the colorectal surgery fellowship training program at Philippine General Hospital was celebrated at the annual post-graduate course held jointly with the University of Philippines. Dr. Maher A. Abbas, visiting professor to the University of Philippines, gave an invited lecture on “Endoscopic dilation of colorectal strictures: when and how”. The course was attended by more than 400 surgeons.
