Professor Maher A. Abbas was invited as a speaker to the annual meeting of the Russian School of Colorectal Surgery sponsored by the Russian Society of Colorectal Surgeons. Professor Abbas delivered a lecture virtually on “Minimally Invasive Proctologic Procedures [MIPP]: The Quest for Painless Surgery”. The faculty of the meeting included 80 prominent speakers from 26 countries. Over 1300 surgeons attended the conference.
