Professor Maher A. Abbas appeared on BBC Arabia Television as guest expert to discuss colon cancer prevention. Dr Abbas commented on the recently published United Kingdom study on the use of bowel scope [flexible sigmoidoscopy] in preventing colon cancer death. Patients were followed for up to 17 years and those who underwent the test significantly reduced their risk of developing or dying from colon cancer.
