Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement with a network of just under 65,000 club members in 118 countries.  This group advocates for human rights and gender equality.  Dr. Maher A. Abbas was invited as guest speaker to the club to discuss the humanitarian mission Campaign_52 which aims to treat women in Kenya who suffer from female pelvic fistulas.  Furthermore, a cervical cancer prevention is being established in 2025 by this group of international medical volunteers.   Dr. Maher A. Abbas updated the group on the activities of Campaign_52.
