Dr. Maher A. Abbas participated in a mountaineering trip to hike Jebel Shams in Oman. The mountain is considered one of two highest peaks in the Gulf region. The spectacular mountain with its beautiful valleys and canyons slightly exceeds 3000 meters in elevation.
