Dr. Maher A. Abbas was a featured speaker at the Stanford University Alumni UAE chapter monthly meeting.  He is a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine, Class of 1989.  Dr. Maher A. Abbas shared with the group the journey of Campaign_52, a humanitarian mission to Kenya, Africa.  Campaign_52 is an international group of volunteers who treat women suffering from pelvic fistulas, a devastating condition with significant negative impact on quality of life.  In addition, Campaign_52 is establishing a cervical cancer prevention program in Eldoret, Kenya.
