Dr. Maher A. Abbas flew to the island of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean.  The island is the home of the highest peak Pico Ruivo (1861 meters).  Nestled in the middle of the ocean, Madeira provides some of the most picturesque landscape from ocean front to mountain peaks.  The Pico Ruivo hike is famous for its early morning sunset views and steep cliffs.
