The 57th Mastery In Surgery Annual Convention was held virtually from Manila, Philippines. The theme of this year’s convention was “Moving forward: experience, expertise, and evidence”. Professor Maher A. Abbas was invited as a guest speaker and he delivered a talk on Surgery versus stent for malignant large bowel obstruction. In addition, he showed two technical videos at the meeting: Myomectomy for Hirschsprung’s disease in adolescents and Laparoscopic excision of small bowel mesenteric cyst.
