The 4th Annual Proctology Meeting was held virtually from Moscow and Elista (Kalmykia), Russia. The meeting was a joint educational event sponsored by the Russian Society of Endoscopic Surgeons, the Association of Coloproctologists of Russia, International School of Practical Surgery, and First Medical Channel. Professor Maher A. Abbas was an invited guest speaker and he spoke on “Anal fistula: causes of operative failure”. The meeting was attended by surgeons from the entire Russian Federation.
