The 16th International Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Techniques was held virtually from Tehran, Iran. The meeting was sponsored by Iran University of Medical Sciences. Professor Maher A. Abbas, MD, was invited to deliver two lectures on “Endoscopic resection of colorectal neoplasms” and “Surgery or stent for malignant large bowel obstruction”. The meeting was attended by a large audience from Iran.
